Greece has officially reopened to U.S. travelers, and perched atop a hilltop overlooking the Ionian sea in Corfu, Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa will open its palatial doors this month, just in time for the summer travel season.
The first flagship property to open in Europe by luxury Asian hospitality group Banyan Tree, Angsana opens on June 15th and will offer guests a collection of 159 rooms and suites as well as 37 pool villas.

Boasting 360-degree views over the turquoise waters of Benitses Bay, the hotel’s gorgeous grounds are surrounded by nothing but lush green mountainous landscapes, Mediterranean gardens and olive tree groves.
Each of the 37 pool villas are meant to evoke the feeling of an authentic, and private Corfu home with outdoor pavilions, terracotta rooftops and private pools.
A seven-mile drive from the town of Corfu and within close proximity to historic sites including Achilleion Palace, the hotel will also offer four signature restaurants and seven bars along with outdoor terraces overlooking a panorama of sea views and the Corfu countryside.

Among the luxury resort’s three main dining venues, Botrini’s is being helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Ettore Botrini and will serve as the properties Greek fine-dining concept.
Additional dining outlets will include a trendy Asian fusion restaurant called Koh, an all-day restaurant called Ruen Romasai and Sofrito, a contemporary tavern with a wide selection of Greek favorites including fresh fish and locally sourced wine.
Among one of the resorts most luxurious amenities, Angsana Spa will serve as a wellness sanctuary for guests. With eleven treatment rooms overlooking the bay as well as an indoor pool area and juice bar, the spa will truly be an oasis for guests’ mind, body and the soul.
While the spa, which will fuse sustainable as well as local and natural ingredients that are unique to the Greek islands, its signature Banyan Tree origins have been integrated to create the ultimate sense of harmony and balance of an East meets West experience.
Other amenities include an outdoor infinity pool, a second indoor heated pool, an array of water sport activities, an outdoor yoga pavilion and a state-of-the-art gym with the option of curated personal fitness regimes hand-designed for each guest.
Considered an “experience-driven” luxury retreat, Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa will host an array of activities both on and off property for people of all ages.
