In South Korea, it’s common to see a new release debut at No. 1 on the Gaon Albums chart every week, as there is always a healthy stream of just-dropped full-lengths and EPs from some of the biggest names in the business...but that’s not what happened this time around. NCT Dream’s debut album Hot Sauce holds at No. 1 for a second turn, as it continued to sell incredibly well. In less than two months, the set has now sold two million copies in less than a full month.

Behind that steady leader, three new releases open inside the top 10 on the Gaon Albums chart, which ranks the bestselling full-lengths, EPs and single albums in South Korea every week, looking at how many copies were shipped to stores.

The loftiest debut of the week comes from SHINee member Taemin, whose new EP Advice misses the top spot by just one rung. The short set arrives just days before the musician enlists for his mandatory military enlistment, meaning it will likely be the last anyone hears from him for a little while. The title appears to be his ninth placement inside the top 10 on his own, while he’s also appeared between Nos. 1 and 10 with nearly 20 additional projects.

Up six spaces to No. 3 is ENHYPEN’s Border: Carnival EP, which led the charge not long ago.

Girl group fromis_9 are back on the Gaon Albums chart with their latest single album 9 Way Ticket, which features just three tracks. The title comes in at No. 4, giving the vocal act their sixth appearance inside the top 10, with all of them spending time inside the top five.

A pair of projects related to the NCT brand come next, with NCT Dream’s We Go Up returning at No. 5, while NCT 127’s Neo Zone reappears at No. 6. Back inside the top 10 yet again is SHINee’s Atlantis, the name given to the re-released edition of their recent album Don’t Call Me. Another NCT Dream effort, Reload, blasts in again at No. 9.

Closing out the top 10 this week is YESUNG’s Beautiful Night, which debuts at No. 10. The singer-songwriter collects his fifth solo top 10 title with the EP, and that’s saying nothing of the material he released as a member of the groups Super Junior, Super Junior-K.R.Y., Super Junior-H and SM the Ballad. Clearly he’s keeping busy, and fans rushed to snap up his latest collection.
