Last week, BTS debuted their new single “Butter” atop the list of the bestselling tracks in their home country of South Korea, and this frame, it doesn’t move an inch. The slippery-smooth smash may go on to rule for some time, as there is nobody left in the music industry who can sell a song like BTS.

The Gaon Download chart ranks the bestselling individual songs in South Korea every week.

Starting off right behind BTS’s “Butter” comes THE BOYZ’s “Kingdom Come,” a new song they performed on Kingdom: Legendary War, a reality TV competition show that pits bands against one another. The track is their first proper release of 2021, and it’s clear the masses loved what they heard and saw.

Heize’s “Happen,” the title track from her latest EP, is a non-mover at No. 3 this week.

Popular trot singer Lim Young-woong launches the song “If I Love You Again” at No. 4 on the list of the bestselling tunes in South Korea this week.

Rising into the top 10 after appearing within the top 20 last week is MSG Wannabe TOP 8’s “Journey To Atlantis.” The track comes from a boy band put together on the much-watched reality TV program Hangout With Yoo (also known as How Do You Play?), and things are off to a great start for the group.

Also new to the top 10 this frame is former Wanna One singer Kim Jae-hwan, whose latest release "Burned All Black" kicks off its time on the Gaon Download chart at No. 6, instantly becoming an impressive bestseller for the multi-talented figure.

The next two titles swap spots with one another, as OH MY GIRL’s “Dun Dun Dance” lifts to No. 7 while Aespa’s “Next Level” declines slightly to No. 8.

Up 10 spaces to No. 9 is Jung Sang-soo’s “Resignation,” which breaks into the highest tier, while another all-male vocal band, BTOB, start their latest cut “Finale (Show And Prove)” at No. 10. That last single is also from the reality show Kingdom: Legendary War, which is quite clearly a hitmaker in the country.
