Made for Love showrunner Christina Lee has inked a multiple-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that under the deal, Lee will create and develop new projects for the studio and, if renewed by WarnerMedia-backed HBO Max, Lee will continue on as showrunner for Made for Love. Lee has also worked on the TBS turned HBO Max comedy, Search Party. The dark scifi-comedy, Made for Love, has been well-reviewed and a renewal of the series is expected. Lee started working on Made for Love as a consultant before becoming a showrunner.

Lee is also exec producing the series adaption of Cathy Park Hong’s book Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning for A24. While not much is known about the show, news about the book being being made into a series with actress-writer Greta Lee broke in early May.

“I have something in development at Netflix NFLX right now, and I have a project that I’m going out with the actress Greta Lee that I’m very excited about,” Lee told The Hollywood Reporter podcast TV’s Top 5 in April. While Minor Feelings has been confirmed, the Netflix project is still under raps.

Lee isn’t the only impressive woman of color that Warner has recently inked a newsworthy deal with. In March, they struck a three-year overall deal with award-winning film and TV writer/producer/director Angela Robinson. Last year, the studio also inked deals with Robin Thede and Kimberly Latrice Jones. More recently, the studio has also recently signed deals with Kaley Cuoco and Melissa Benoist.
